As young as three, Sruthy Sasidharan used to hum tunes and quickly learn the lyrics of the songs that she heard. Her parents – both music lovers – took note of her talent and enrolled the toddler for music lessons. Sruthy’s journey in life has been closely tied to her passion for music ever since. Today, CET Alumnus Sruthy Sasidharan (2015 CS Batch) has sung a beautiful melody “Naanu neenu” along with Naresh Iyer in one of the most anticipated upcoming Indian multilingual sports action drama film written and directed by S. Krishna, ‘Pailwaan’.

While pursuing her career in engineering she continued to perform in various events and concerts and later left her job to pursue her passion in music. Sruthy stepped into the world of playback singing with the song "Kiya Kiva" from the movie ‘Akashamittayi’ (Malayalam).

Although Sruthy Sasidharan is a couple of songs old in Mollywood, most people now promptly recognise her as the honeyed voice behind the tuneful romantic song “Kaadhale” from Tovino Thomas-starrer movie, ‘Maradona’.

Having tasted success in Mollywood, opportunities in other languages have now come in thick and fast for the young singer.
