Project ‘Harithankanam’

To mark the beginning of the 80th Anniversary Celebrations of CET, a green project name ‘Harithankanam’ was launched. It is aimed at creating an ecological hotspot within the college premises.

The project came to life through the collaboration of CET Alumni Association and NGO Arborities Foundation. Under this initiative, various endangered plant species native to the local terrain will be cultivated on campus, making it an ecological reserve.

Tourism Minister Shri. Kadakampally Surendran launched the project in the presence of honourable Chief Minister Shri. Pinarayi Vijayan during the inauguration ceremony of the 80 years anniversary celebration on 29th October, 2019.

The function was also presided over by Higher Education Minister Shri. K T Jaleel. Principal Shri. Jiji CV, Technical Education Director Smt. K P Indiradevi, Cheruvaikal ward councilor Shri. Anilkumar and College Union Chairperson Smt. Anjuradha T R also spoke on the occassion.
