The CETians belonging to ’87 batch achieved a major milestone by raising Rs 12.09 lakhs to support the COVID affected families.

This amazing feat was achieved through “Eenam”, a FB Live music programme being organized by the 1987 batch of CET. Talented singers and instrumentalists from the batch came together to recreate the magic that they had once cherished together during their college days. These alumni, who are spread across regions India, Middle East, Europe and US, were later joined by their children adding more colour to the online musical event.

The batch has tied up with the NGO, SEEDS to execute the project in Kerala. SEEDS is aiming to reach out to 1,000, 000 underprivileged and vulnerable persons in partnership with Government of India and state governments. The benefits would reach ‘invisible’ individuals and families – the elderly, children, daily-wage earners, and front-line health and aid workers.

Congratulations to the organizers and each member who had supported this noble cause.
